For students who show a particular aptitude, individual instrumental tuition by qualified instrumental tutors is available as an enrichment of the formal academic curriculum. Tuition is arranged between parents and the tutor. Parents are billed directly by the instrumental tutor. Lessons take place once a week during school time and are usually of 30 minutes duration. Instrumental and vocal tuition is currently available as follows: - String: Violin, Viola, Cello, Guitar and Bass Guitar
- Woodwind: Flute, Oboe, Bassoon, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Saxophone (alto, tenor and baritone)
- Brass: Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba
- Percussion: Drum Kit, Latin and African Percussion
- Voice: Contemporary, Classical, Jazz
Students are also given the opportunity to sit for external examinations through the A.M.E.B or Trinity College. All grades and levels are catered for and all styles of music can be studied.
