The Library is located at the heart of the College and is a focal point for student centered learning. At an exciting time of increasing access to information, library staff are focused on facilitating the development of life-long learning skills and information literacy skills. Library staff work collaboratively with other College teaching staff to plan and resource curriculum programs and provide engaging and challenging teaching resources in a supportive, dynamic and information rich learning environment.
The Library embraces new learning technologies and is continuing to further develop and refine an online presence that enables students to have access to reliable and quality information and learning resources at times that best meet their individual needs. The Library also supports a strong reading culture through an expansive fiction collection located in the quiet reading area and through student participation in a vibrant book club. Student artwork and design projects adorn the Library, which along with library activities and events, aims to foster a sense of belonging and student ownership in the tradition of Angela Merici.
