The Year 11 Pastoral Care program supports the students through their transition from Junior to Senior school. It incorporates activities and workshops which are designed to facilitate their role as student leaders and their ability in developing their skills to make informed choices academically, spiritually, socially and environmentally. Each student is encouraged to set their own personal goals which they evaluate and work towards achieving during the Preliminary HSC year and beyond.

The Pastoral Care program focuses on:

  • Providing guided Spiritual Reflection while on a two day Retreat and College Reflection Day
  • All students as leaders and preparing the students to take on formal student leadership positions
  • Supporting the students through their transition into Senior school where they look at study skills, time management, organisation and preparation for assessments
  • Strengthening their social network and friendships and educating the students on their social and behavioural responsibilities
  • Goal setting and working toward achieving their best in all areas, learning to be resilient and being able to re-evaluate their goals
  • Providing Careers guidance and information on future career paths and ways of accessing them.
