St Ursula's is a member of the Catholic Girls Secondary Schools Sporting Association (CGSSSA). There are 17 affiliated schools and the CGSSSA organises 16 sports. St Ursula’s participates in Aquathon, Cricket, Tennis, Dance, Athletics, Hockey, Netball, Gymnastics, Basketball, Cross Country, Soccer, Swimming, Volleyball and Softball. The competition is a Gala day. Most sports have a Junior and Senior team. We hold trials for each sport approximately seven weeks prior to the gala day. Trial dates are communicated via the College daily notices. From these trials a representative team is selected. Girls will need to train either in the morning, lunchtimes or after school at the discretion of the coach. Training takes place at the College or Dowsett Park. If selected into a representative team, students need to ensure they attend training and behave impeccably, being good sports at training and on the gala day. There is a small cost associated with the day, to cover fees and bus costs.
